This is a hard track for me to describe. A friend of mine gave me these three words to create an ambient track around and I had to look inward.

For radiance I was picturing those days where the sky is full of grey clouds, but gradually you see these beautiful beams of sunlight piercing through the clouds. It's not bright, but it's just enough to give hope that the sky will clear and it just looks so heavenly. I suppose these can all act as metaphors for people that we meet...even thoughts that we might have some times. Therefore the transition to rugged is abrupt and dark. But...despite that, you get through it. You find anything to pull you out of that hole. While making this, I was reminded of my favourite poem by Jim Harrison, "Barking". And, although the darkness persists, you get yourself through it or you're led from it, to victory.
